NCSOFT has announced the global release of its PC MMORPG, Blade and Soul NEO, on the popular game distribution platform Steam, on June 4 (local time).
NC's North American subsidiary, NC America, confirmed that Blade and Soul NEO would be available on Steam for North American and European players starting from 7 a.m. on June 4 (local time). The game initially launched in North America and Europe on February 27 and has been available on NC’s proprietary platform, PURPLE. To enhance accessibility for international gamers, the company has expanded its service to Steam.
Blade and Soul NEO features improved graphics and action-oriented combat compared to the original game, along with rich customization options. Since its launch in North America and Europe, the game has already received three content updates.
NCSOFT continues its regional expansion strategy for its core intellectual properties. Following the release of Lineage 2M in six Southeast Asian countries in the first half of this year, the company is also preparing to launch the game in China in partnership with Tencent.
