NCSOFT announced on June 9 that it participated in the Summer Game Fest (SGF) 2025 held in Los Angeles, unveiling new titles from its flagship Blade & Soul series.
During the event, NCSOFT revealed new trailers for Blade & Soul Heroes and Blade & Soul NEO. Blade & Soul Heroes is the global version of Blade & Soul HoYeon, which was launched in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan in August of last year. The game is scheduled for a simultaneous worldwide release in 185 countries this September. Currently, global pre-registration is underway, and players can access the game via NCSOFT’s multi-platform service PURPLE, as well as on Steam, Google Play, and the Apple App Store.
Additionally, NCSOFT showcased Blade & Soul NEO, introducing for the first time the new Mage class through a trailer. This class will be officially added to the game in the upcoming content update on June 24. Blade & Soul NEO is currently available in North America and Europe via PURPLE and Steam.
At SGF, NCSOFT also participated in IGN Live 2025, organized by the global gaming webzine IGN, where additional information about Blade & Soul Heroes was shared. NCSOFT America’s Production Director Nico Coutant and Community Manager Andrew Gant appeared on stage for an interview discussing game content. Viewers can watch gameplay footage through IGN’s official channels.
This participation in international game shows marks NCSOFT’s strategic move to strengthen engagement with overseas players and expand its major IPs into global markets, accelerating its regional and international growth initiatives.
