Netmarble announced on May 23 that it will unveil a new trailer for its open-world action RPG, "The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin," during the global gaming event "Summer Game Fest 2025." The event is scheduled to take place at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles on June 6 at 2 PM PST (June 7 at 6 AM KST).
The trailer, to be showcased at the event, features a cinematic video of "The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin" set in a multiverse based on the popular IP. It highlights high-quality graphics and dramatic scenes crafted using Unreal Engine 5. Netmarble anticipates that this video will significantly heighten excitement among global gaming fans.
Developed by the team behind the globally successful "The Seven Deadly Sins: GRANDCROSS," which achieved over 70 million downloads, "Origin" offers a new experience. Players can freely explore the open-world environment and actively engage with the storyline of the original series.
In March, Netmarble launched an official teaser site and social media channels, marking the start of their pre-launch marketing campaign. Through this global showcase, the company plans to reveal developments and the futuristic vision of "The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin," which is slated for release later this year.
Meanwhile, "Summer Game Fest" is an annual global gaming event organized by renowned game journalist Geoff Keighley. Held every June in LA, the event features new game announcements and trailer releases from major gaming companies and is broadcast live worldwide via YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, TikTok, and Steam.
