Seoul, June 2 — Lotte Wellfood announced that it recently organized a baking demonstration featuring renowned chefs using premium dairy products from France’s Rotalis. The event, held on May 30 at Le Cordon Bleu-Sookmyung Academy in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, aimed to promote industry growth by sharing high-quality ingredients and recipes with bakery professionals both domestically and internationally.
Since producing Korea’s first margarine in 1960, Lotte Wellfood has supplied a range of baking ingredients to the market. In 2021, the company began an exclusive partnership with Rotalis, a French dairy company, to distribute their premium brands, including Floré and Presideon, in Korea.
The demonstration was led by Chefs Jeremy Bullester and Nicola Piero, both designated as Presideon Brand Ambassadors by Rotalis. These ambassadors are selected for their exceptional culinary use of Presideon products in their innovative dishes.
During the four-hour event, the chefs showcased various bakery items utilizing Lotte Wellfood’s exclusive products, including Floré Whipping Cream, Floré Gourmet Roll Butter, and Presideon Butter Sheet. Chef Jeremy presented light summer desserts such as Coconut Pineapple Croffin and Exotic Queen Amang, while Chef Nicola demonstrated a grapefruit and rose-flavored Entremets Mousse and an Oriental-inspired fruit tartlet.
The event’s attendees, including industry experts, representatives from major clients nationwide, and alumni of Le Cordon Bleu, expressed high interest and enthusiasm for the showcased techniques and products. Approximately 60 professionals participated in the hands-on demonstrations.
Lotte Wellfood’s Floré Whipping Cream is renowned for its rich, fresh milk flavor, aromatic profile, and excellent workability, sourced from France’s premium dairy. Floré Gourmet Roll Butter, aged for 48 hours using proprietary fermentation cultures, offers a deep fermented flavor and long-lasting quality. The Presideon Butter Sheet, designed for easy puff pastry preparation, boasts a rich milk taste and sturdy texture suitable for summer baking.
