Dubai - Quranium, the world’s first hybrid quantum-proof DLT infrastructure that overcomes the infamous ‘Blockchain Trilemma’, is to announce today the launch of its new business podcast, "Quantum Minds”, with episode one now available for streaming.
"Quantum Minds" delves into groundbreaking ideas and disruptive innovations that are shaping the future of technology, commerce, and society. Hosted by Quranium, this podcast brings together leading thinkers, entrepreneurs, and experts to discuss trends in quantum computing, blockchain, AI, IoT, and more. The aim is to inspire a new era of innovation and collaboration, pushing the boundaries of what we know and dreaming of what might be.
Kapil Dhiman, CEO and co-founder of Quranium, and host of Quantum Minds states, "We envision a future where technology is not just a tool but a means to advance human understanding, enrich the world, and drive positive change. 'Quantum Minds' will educate and inform on key issues, challenges, and opportunities in this new era of digital excellence. I enjoyed being in the guest seat for episode one, answering the questions posed by co-host Olivia Karlsson, Quranium’s VP of Business Development. And I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being in the host seat to some incredible guests. I can’t wait to release the future episodes and interview new guests."
Quantum Minds is more than just a tech podcast. It aims to highlight the softer aspects of technological advancement—the visionary leaders who inspire the next generation of innovators. The podcast seeks to become a destination where young minds can learn, get inspired, and become the disruptors of tomorrow.
The first episode is live today, and sees co-host Olivia Karlsson, Quranium’s VP of Business Development, interview Kapil Dhiman, CEO and co-founder of Quranium in a personal and thought provoking special episode.
Kapil discusses the driving forces behind becoming the latest blockchain visionary, both within himself and in the ecosystem. Keeping the bitcoin white paper framed on his desk, he explains how the evolution of bitcoin into a trillion dollar industry proves just how much humans need self-custody. Kapil is making sure that emerging technologies have a place to continue to develop, by building the foundation of the new world, and in this episode he explains both how it is so important and why.
He says: “The 90s revolution that happened in the internet space, I saw the same thing happening in the blockchain space in 2016/2017 and I was like, this an opportunity I don’t want to miss, and I started diving deeper.”
Having started working as a consultant by day, and building various startups by night, timing is at the core of each project Kapil takes on, and he is enacting the change blockchain requires from the ground-up, solving layer 1 issues that threaten the system itself, “the more the L2s and L3s are coming without solving the foundational problems, somewhere down the line the house of cards will fall.”
New episodes are set for release bi-monthly. Upcoming guests include:
Robin Joffe, Partner & Managing Director (Middle East, Africa & South Asia) at Frost & Sullivan, discussing 'Navigating the new normal - Digitisation, Disruption, and Innovation.' Mayur Relekar, Founder & CEO of Arcana Network, sharing insights on Chain Abstraction, Web3 UX, product design, and infrastructure & tooling.
Quantum computing, leveraging the principles of quantum mechanics, promises to revolutionize industries with its immense computational power. According to Gartner, traditional cryptography could become obsolete by 2029 due to advancements in quantum computing. The global quantum computing market is projected to reach $2.2 billion by 2026, with major investments from tech giants like Google, IBM, and Microsoft.
The potential of quantum computing includes solving complex optimization problems, enhancing machine learning algorithms, and transforming fields like pharmaceuticals and materials science. However, it also brings challenges, such as the need for quantum-resistant encryption to protect data.
Beyond the technical discussions, "Quantum Minds" aims to inspire and motivate the younger generation. By showcasing the journeys and insights of visionary leaders, the podcast will encourage young innovators to build more and disrupt the status quo. It's about learning from the best and being inspired to create a better future.
