Netmarble unveiled new trailer videos for its upcoming open-world collectible RPG, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, on June 6 and 7 during major international gaming events—the Summer Game Fest and the Future Games Show, respectively.
In accordance with the themes of each event, Netmarble showcased different versions of the trailers, both effectively highlighting the game’s setting, main characters, and open-world features. The trailers generated heightened anticipation among fans and viewers alike.
The videos prominently feature the protagonist, Tristan, along with popular characters from the original anime such as Meliodas, Ban, King, and Merlin, all brought to life through high-quality game graphics. Notably, intense real-time combat scenes involving demons and golems reveal dynamic skill executions and battle styles that captivate viewers.
Additionally, the trailers introduce various gameplay elements set across different regions of Britannia, including fishing and cooking, hinting at a rich, immersive open-world experience beyond simple combat mechanics.
Netmarble also announced that pre-registration for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is now open via the official brand website starting from June 4. Players can participate simply by entering their mobile phone number, and pre-registrants will receive in-game items as rewards, along with access to a closed beta test.
Based on the widely popular anime Seven Deadly Sins, which has sold over 55 million copies worldwide, the game features an original multiverse storyline centered on Tristan, the son of Elizabeth and Meliodas. The story expands on the well-loved universe with new narratives and characters.
The game is set for simultaneous releases across three platforms—PlayStation 5, Steam (PC), and mobile—signaling a notable effort by Netmarble to showcase its technological capabilities and content expansion potential. The game pages are already live on the PlayStation Store and Steam, where fans can add it to their wishlists.
