Coreline Soft announced on June 4th that it will supply its proprietary AI software to lung cancer screening initiatives in Norway and Finland.
The company stated that it is participating in Norway’s ‘TIDL’ project, led by Akershus University Hospital (AHUS), a national hospital under the Norwegian Ministry of Health. The project aims to establish an AI-based chest CT (computed tomography) screening system for high-risk populations. Coreline Soft’s AI software will be applied to analyze low-dose CT images, automating nodule detection and interpretation for high-risk groups.
In Finland, Coreline Soft signed a contract to supply AI image analysis solutions to Helsinki University Hospital (HUS) as part of the country’s national pilot program. Under this agreement, the company is currently verifying the technology and conducting real-world assessments of its AVIEW platform, which will be integrated into HUS’s radiology clinical workflows. The Finnish project’s AI solutions will operate within an AWS cloud environment that meets European ICT standards, including GDPR compliance.
Building on extensive experience in public health screening programs across Europe, Coreline Soft is accelerating its efforts to expand in the global B2G AI healthcare market. The company has participated as an AI partner in significant policy-driven projects such as Germany’s HANSE, Italy’s RISP, and the EU-wide 4ITLR initiative involving five member states. Recently, it was chosen as an AI partner by the UK National Health Service (NHS)’s EDIN project and by the French National Cancer Institute, affirming its credibility and technological compatibility in policy settings. Successive contracts, including registration with France’s Purchasing Platform and supply agreements with Oxford University Hospitals, demonstrate that Coreline Soft has gained trust and validation at the national level beyond simple contractual relationships.
With the European governments actively promoting routine screening programs for lung cancer—the leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide—the demand for AI-based interpretation systems is surging. Leveraging its years of experience in public health projects and real-time hospital system integrations, Coreline Soft is positioning itself as a key partner for such initiatives, offering multi-disease analysis capabilities and compatibility with PACS and RIS systems.

Meanwhile, European countries are ramping up government-led initiatives to implement regular lung cancer screenings, the top cause of cancer mortality globally. Coreline Soft is actively participating in individual country bids and pilot tests to expand the early application of AI image analysis solutions within national screening programs.
