Dubai, UAE – June 19, 2025– Hedera Foundation and The Binary Holdings have announced a strategic alliance to integrate Hedera dApps into telecom applications across Indonesia and the Philippines. This initiative aims to onboard over 169 million users to Hedera's mobile gaming ecosystem.
Leveraging The Binary Holdings' distribution network, Hedera projects like ME! Avatar App and Smack Mosquito will be integrated into OneWave, a decentralized app store within Southeast Asian telecom providers' native mobile apps. This integration grants Hedera-based casual games access to a vast user base across the Philippines, Indonesia, and other key Southeast Asian markets.
User interactions with Hedera dApps will be recorded on the Hedera network and incentivized through $BNRY tokens, telco loyalty rewards. This drives engagement and activity across the Hedera ecosystem, utilizing its speed, fairness, and security.
This collaboration bridges blockchain technology with a massive user base, connecting Hedera with over 169 million users in
Southeast Asia. It combines Hedera's infrastructure with The Binary Holdings' user base, creating synergy for stakeholders.
Sabrina Tachdjian of HBAR Inc. stated, "This is a significant step towards the future of decentralized applications, paving the way for growth for projects, developers, and users."
This partnership offers increased utility, cross-chain opportunities, and expanded market reach for both the Hedera ecosystem and The Binary Holdings.
Hedera Foundation supports the development of public-network applications on Hedera, offering grants, assistance, and community support to projects leveraging Hedera’s ledger.
