SK Hynix is set to host the ‘2025 SK Global Forum’ from May 30 to June 1 in Santa Clara, California, aimed at securing top global talent to shape the future of AI memory technology. The event aims to bring together promising professionals active in the United States to share SK Hynix’s technological capabilities and future strategies, while discussing global trends in technology.
The SK Global Forum is designed as a platform to connect SK Hynix’s prospective talent pool with the company’s core technological initiatives. By fostering closer interactions, SK Hynix plans to reinforce its efforts to realize its full stack AI memory strategy and to maintain its competitive edge in technology innovation.
The company emphasizes that expanding the AI memory ecosystem requires strengthening capabilities in computing systems. Accordingly, for the first time this year, SK Hynix has introduced a dedicated system architecture session during the forum to deepen discussions around system-level innovation.
The event will feature exhibition spaces where selected attendees can directly experience SK Hynix’s core technologies. The exhibition showcases key products essential for AI data centers and on-device AI deployment—including High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), high-capacity eSSD, and LPCAMM2. Additionally, the journey of SK Hynix’s technological innovation, tracing the company’s milestones, will be highlighted through an historical display.
Of particular note is LPCAMM2, a next-generation memory module based on LPDDR5X technology. It can replace two DDR5 SODIMM modules, offering advantages in space savings, low power consumption, and high performance—attributes crucial for AI and mobile applications.
Top executives, including CEO Kwak No-jung, CMO Kim Ju-seon, CDO Ahn Hyun, and CTO Cha Seon-yong, will personally attend and engage with international talents. CEO Kwak will deliver a keynote speech outlining SK Hynix’s vision and strategy to respond effectively to the AI era, while CDO Ahn is expected to present the roadmap for next-generation memory technology and product development.
Shin Sang-kyu, Vice President of corporate culture, stated, “The SK Global Forum has become a vital platform to strengthen our technological competitiveness,” adding, “We will continue our focus on recruiting global talent to lead the AI era and carry forward SK Hynix’s renaissance journey.”
