SK AX announced on July 7th that it will participate in the upcoming ‘Industry Safety and Health Specialist Seminar’ on July 9th, where it will introduce its AI-based safety, health, and environmental (SHE) innovation strategies and practical application cases in industrial settings.
The seminar, hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Industrial Safety and Health Agency, is part of the official events commemorating ‘July, Industry Safety Month.’ It provides a platform for key safety organizations and private companies to share their technologies and experiences, fostering collaboration aimed at enhancing safety standards across industrial sites.
During the event, SK AX will host a dedicated session titled ‘SHE AI Predictive Platform: Changing the Industrial Safety Paradigm.’ The session aims to provide practical solutions for safety managers who are simultaneously addressing safety management and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) considerations through a field-oriented approach.
The first speaker, Lee Kang-don, SHE DX Manager at SK AX’s digital subsidiary A.karten Partners, will showcase real-world examples of technologies such as AI autonomous drones, collaborative robot systems, and hazard assessment tools. His presentation will go beyond simple technology listing, focusing on quantifiable effects and operational considerations for organizations implementing these innovations.
Following this, Lee Jeong-hoon, Head of SHE Platform Development at SK AX, will introduce the ‘iFACTs SHE’ AI-based SHE 업무 플랫폼. This platform standardizes key manufacturing tasks such as safety permits, accident and chemical management, and Process Safety Management (PSM). It features real-time risk detection and regulation compliance, integrated into a user-centric system designed to deliver tangible operational improvements and efficiencies for frontline operators.
Building on these technological insights, SK AX leverages its digital consulting organization, A.karten Partners, to offer customized SHE AX services tailored to individual enterprises. From diagnostics to data processing, AI platform design, and operational stabilization, SK AX supports all stages of digital SHE implementation, offering solutions optimized for the unique risks and complexities of industrial environments.
The seminar will also feature presentations from SK Hynix on ‘Intelligent Risk Management Systems’ and the Korea Robot Industry Association on ‘Applications of Industrial AI Robots,’ facilitating broader industry-wide knowledge exchange on advancing safety technologies.
Choi Jin-min, Partner at SK AX’s A.karten Partners, emphasized, “The SHE domain entails complex challenges that extend beyond simple safety management to meeting legal responsibilities and societal expectations. This seminar will share how digital technologies can solve real-world SHE issues and outline future directions for the industry.”
