Netmarble has announced that it will showcase its upcoming action RPG, MONGIL: STAR DIVE, at the upcoming Summer Game Fest 2025 (SGF 2025), scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on June 6th (local time). During the event, the company will premiere a new trailer for the game, developed by Netmarble Monster, along with showcasing previously unseen character footage.
SGF 2025 is a renowned international gaming event held both online and offline, serving as a major platform for industry announcements. Netmarble aims to leverage this opportunity to strengthen its global market strategy for MONGIL: STAR DIVE. The new trailer will feature characters that have yet to be revealed, creating significant anticipation among fans.
MONGIL: STAR DIVE is the sequel to the popular mobile collector RPG Monster Taming, launched in 2013 and beloved by many. The game was first unveiled at G-STAR 2024. It boasts high-quality visuals powered by Unreal Engine 5, a dynamic 3-player tag-team battle system, spectacular combat animations, and a monster capturing and fusion system called "Monster Collection."
Furthermore, Netmarble plans to participate in Unreal Fest in Orlando on June 2nd (local time). The company will showcase MONGIL: STAR DIVE there as well, collaborating with Epic Games to demonstrate its technological capabilities and expand across multiple platforms.
In addition, a closed beta test (CBT) has been underway in Korea from May 21st to 27th, with ongoing efforts to gather player feedback and improve the game's quality. The company aims for a global launch later this year, fully reflecting user input to deliver an optimized gaming experience.
