SingCham Korea hosted a 'Happy Singapore Day' reception on August 8th at the Fairmont Ambassador Seoul to celebrate Singapore's 59th birthday.
Since establishing diplomatic relations in 1975, Singapore and Korea have enjoyed cooperative and fruitful relations, deepening their bilateral ties over nearly five decades.
The event commenced with the Singapore national anthem and pledge, followed by opening remarks from SingCham Korea Chairman Justin Yong. Singaporean Ambassador to Korea, H.E. Eric Teo Boon Hee, in his welcoming speech, emphasized the close bonds between the two countries and urged more robust economic cooperation and partnerships in the future.
Over 200 guests enjoyed a delectable buffet with wine and drinks and engaged in free networking for nearly two hours. The highlight of the evening was the lucky draw at the event's conclusion, where guests enthusiastically cheered and applauded the winners. The 'Happy Singapore Day' gala concluded with great enthusiasm.
