
DAESANG JONGGA, Korea’s premier kimchi brand, announced on August 13 that it is collaborating with renowned restaurants in the United States and Australia to introduce a variety of innovative menus utilizing kimchi.
As the global popularity of K-food continues to grow, JONGGA is partnering with international restaurants to showcase the versatility of kimchi across different dining concepts, from casual franchises to fine dining and traditional Korean cuisine. The initiative aims to appeal to a broad range of consumers and promote the health benefits and culinary appeal of kimchi worldwide.
In New York City, trendy Korean-style chicken brand Rokstar Chicken, known for its slogan “Korean Flavor, New York Attitude,” will feature JONGGA’s kimchi in two signature dishes: “JONGGA Kimchi Chicken Sandwich” and “JONGGA Kimchi French Fries.” These items will be available at five Rokstar Chicken outlets across New York until March next year. The dishes were first introduced at the “Head in the Cloud 2025” global music festival in Los Angeles this June, earning positive feedback.
Additionally, JONGGA is collaborating with KOTTE (KOCHI), a Michelin one-star Korean fine dining restaurant in New York. Managed by Chef Sim Sung-cheol, a former Michelin three-star chef from Per Se, the restaurant will offer a limited-time “JONGGA Kimchi Bibimbap” mixing its signature bibimbap with finely chopped JONGGA kimchi from September this year through August next year.
In Australia, Melbourne’s renowned Korean restaurant CHAE will present a “Kimchi Special Course” in October and November. The menu will feature various stages of fermented kimchi to deliver rich, layered flavors. Reservations for this event will be conducted via the restaurant’s official website through a lottery system. Furthermore, JONGGA plans to supply kimchi as a staple side dish until July next year, complemented by kimchi-making workshops scheduled for the latter half of the year.
