Netmarble announced on July 7th that it premiered the teaser trailer for its new game, I Alone Level-Up: KARMA, at the Anime Expo, North America's largest event dedicated to comics and animation. The expo, held in North America, served as the global stage for the initial reveal.
I Alone Level-Up: KARMA is a log-lite action RPG currently in development for mobile and PC platforms. The game is based on the popular Solo Leveling anime and explores the story of Sung Jin-woo, who uses the ‘Ring of Reincarnation’—a detail not thoroughly depicted in the original—sending him back in time to a dimension filled with chaos. The narrative details the 27-year-long war of masters within this alternate realm.
Combining intense combat with engaging growth and loot elements, the game promises accessible gameplay that appeals to a broad audience. Its roguelike characteristics ensure that each battle offers a fresh experience, emphasizing varied combat scenarios and collection fun every time.
The newly released teaser showcased Sung Jin-woo’s stylish combat using various weapons, intense battles utilizing shadow armies, and iconic monsters such as the ‘Statues of the Cathedral of Cartenon,’ ‘Demon King Baran,’ ‘Kerberos,’ and ‘Vulcan.’ Viewers can also glimpse the original storyline unique to I Alone Level-Up: KARMA.
