CJ OliveNetworks has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with global CRM leader Salesforce, aiming to accelerate its innovation in AI-based customer experience (CX, Audience Experience).
The partnership, formalized during a signing ceremony held on May 22 at Salesforce Korea’s Seoul headquarters, was attended by CJ OliveNetworks CEO Yoo In-sang, Salesforce Korea CEO Son Buhan, along with other key stakeholders. The collaboration marks a significant step in integrating Salesforce’s core technologies into CJ OliveNetworks’ digital transformation strategy.
Under the agreement, the two companies plan to actively incorporate Salesforce’s cloud-based CRM platform, collaboration tools, and data analytics solutions into CJ OliveNetworks’ operations. By doing so, CJ aims to enhance its customer engagement capabilities and foster more agile and data-driven business processes.
Salesforce, a global leader in CRM solutions, supports enterprises with a suite of innovative tools including the ‘C360’ customer data platform, AI-powered customer response automation ‘Agentforce,’ data visualization tool ‘Tableau,’ and collaboration platform ‘Slack.’ These tools are designed to bolster digital competitiveness across diverse industries.
CJ OliveNetworks intends to implement a phased rollout of Salesforce solutions, focusing on establishing real-time collaboration environments via Slack, reinforcing data analysis through Tableau, and elevating operational workflows with Agentforce. The introduction of Slack is especially targeted at transforming internal communication into a more agile, automated process, while Tableau visualization will strengthen analytical capabilities. Meanwhile, Agentforce will optimize customer service and other customer-facing operations through AI automation.
Looking ahead, the companies plan to expand the use of Salesforce solutions across the CJ Group and its affiliates, supporting digital consulting tailored to industries such as food, logistics, biotech, and media. This initiative aims to provide practical business outcomes and drive customer experience innovation through digital transformation.
Salesforce CEO Son Buhan emphasized, “AI and data-driven CRM are essential tools for enhancing competitiveness in today’s complex business environment. We are committed to supporting CJ OliveNetworks and setting a successful example for AI adoption among Korean companies.”
CJ OliveNetworks CEO Yoo In-sang stated, “This partnership goes beyond simple technology adoption; it is a catalyst for delivering tangible business results and transforming customer experience. We aim to lead the digital transformation era as a trusted partner through the success stories we will create together.”
