On July 12th, the French Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) and the Embassy of France in the Republic of Korea will come together to host Bastille Day festivities at Floating Island, one of the most scenic venues alongside the Han River in Seoul.
La Fête Nationale 2024 (Bastille Day), recognized as one of the biggest annual events organized by FKCCI, is poised to welcome over 1,000 guests. Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy premium French champagne, wine, and delicacies within a vibrant atmosphere. The event is designed to be an evening of surprises, including a Lucky Draw featuring valuable prizes, musical performances, and DJ sets.
The celebration is set to begin at 8 PM with formal addresses from the FKCCI Chairman and the French Ambassador to the Republic of Korea. These speeches will take place in the main hall. The event will then feature a performance of the French national anthem by 200 cadets and members of the "Promotion Capitaine Goupil" from the prestigious French military academy Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan, serving as a tribute to France's history.
Following this, guests will be invited to the rooftop to witness a fireworks display, in line with French tradition, before attending a cocktail buffet dinner.
Additionally, the evening will include a variety of activities, such as a concert performed by the 200 cadets, the announcement of contest winners, an extraordinary Lucky Draw, and a DJ party. The Lucky Draw will offer prizes such as luxurious hotel stays, the latest electronic devices, and high-quality skincare and cosmetic products. Before departing, guests are encouraged to collect gift bags containing additional skincare products and French snacks.
