In April, S-OIL was selected as a participant in the Korean Public Procurement Service's "6th Fuel Joint Procurement Program." The company announced its partnership with the fuel price search app "OilNow" to launch a location-based map service, making it easier for public institutions to locate contracted fuel stations.
The "Fuel Joint Procurement Program," led by the Public Procurement Service, is designed to support public institutions such as government agencies, local governments, and public enterprises in purchasing guaranteed quality fuel reliably. Recognized for its extensive nationwide supply network and the enduring brand value of "Good Oil," S-OIL was also selected for the previous 5th round of the program (April 2022 - March 2025) and now continues as a supplier in the 6th round. As part of this initiative, S-OIL will supply fuel to approximately 10,300 public institutions nationwide through about 1,800 contracted stations over the next three years.
To enhance the convenience for vehicles used by public institutions, S-OIL has collaborated with the "OilNow" app to offer a real-time location-based map service. The "OilNow" app is a mobile platform that provides features such as station locations, price comparisons, and navigation integration. Through this service, users can easily and quickly find nearby contracted fuel stations supplying public institution fuel.
An S-OIL representative stated, "As a trusted energy and chemical company for both public and private sectors, we will continue to expand our supply of high-quality fuel and digital customer convenience services, strengthening our position as the most competitive and innovative company." Additionally, S-OIL plans to expand its partnership with the "OilNow" app and enhance consumer benefits through various promotions.
