LS ELECTRIC has unveiled an AI-based safety management solution that can be applied to factories and various industrial sites.
On March 20, LS ELECTRIC announced the launch of its smart safety management platform, 'LS SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) with AI.'
'SHE with AI' is an AI technology-based safety management solution that integrates various smart safety devices and CCTV for real-time monitoring and analysis. This platform detects major risk factors such as fires, equipment entrapment, lack of protective gear, collisions, and entry into hazardous zones at industrial sites. It offers the advantage of preventing accidents beforehand and enabling a swift response if they occur.
Especially, 'SHE with AI' applies AI technology to LS ELECTRIC's extensive safety management expertise from large-scale industrial safety projects. It offers 24/7 services, including accident type detection, hazardous zone setting, system optimization, real-time monitoring, and data analysis.
LS ELECTRIC is also offering this new platform in a subscription service format, making it accessible to business operators concerned about initial investment costs. It can be tailored to small business sites, which is expected to attract significant interest from entities with fewer than 50 employees, newly subject to stringent safety regulations last year.
The AI model utilized by LS ELECTRIC is officially certified by the Korea Information and Communication Technology Association (TTA) with an average accuracy of 97%, ensuring high reliability compared to existing safety management systems.
"'SHE with AI' is regarded as an innovative platform capable of preventing accidents in advance and responding quickly when they occur, unlike existing solutions," said an official from LS ELECTRIC. "As the prevention of major industrial accidents becomes a critical responsibility for companies, we hope that the introduction of our new platform, combined with LS ELECTRIC's industrial environment improvement expertise, will lead to safer business sites."
