Wales, UK.- Everrati, the luxury electric car conversion company, has recently partnered with Hemmels, the Mercedes-Benz SL restoration specialist, to produce a fully electric version of the Mercedes-Benz W113 SL 'Pagoda'. This collaboration follows the recent launch of Everrati's own electrified 'Pagoda' model and aims to set a new standard in combining luxury with sustainable technology.
Hemmels is renowned for its Neugeboren (Newborn) Restoration Process, which meticulously integrates luxury, craftsmanship, and modern technology. This collaboration with Everrati ensures that the new electric Pagoda maintains the unique character of the original vehicle while enhancing its performance and sustainability through Everrati’s advanced EV technology. Their process preserves the original structural integrity, making the conversion reversible and maintaining the vehicle’s value.
Key features include Everrati’s high-density electric motor, capable of 300bhp, and an iGen-5 68 kWh battery system offering over 200 miles of range and a 0-60 mph time under 7 seconds. The vehicle also includes regenerative braking, AC and DC fast charging, and a host of customisation options, including bespoke paint finishes, re-chromed parts, new glass, and handcrafted interiors.
Hemmels will offer international sales and customisation options from its state-of-the-art facilities. The collaboration also emphasizes sustainability, using low carbon luxury leather from Bridge of Weir, and offers modern features such as Bluetooth® controlled audio, heated seats, and air conditioning.
The new electric Pagoda will be showcased at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance from August 11-18, 2024. This event will highlight the blend of heritage, luxury, and cutting-edge technology, and allow potential customers to experience the vehicle firsthand.
