SEOUL, KOREA - Google Korea announced that it will market “Chromecast” in Korea at the price of 49,900 won. Chromecast is an innovative media streaming device that enables users to enjoy online contents at desktop computers, smartphones, and tablets through TVs.

 

Chromecast will be available from today at Google Play and from May 16 at Lotte Hi-Mart, G Mart, and Auction. The domestic content partners for Chromecast are TVing and Hoppin.

Chromecast can be installed and used very easily. As a thumb finger-sized media streaming device, Chromecast can operate simply by being connected into TV’s HDMI port. 

With Chromecast, users can enjoy a variety of online contents that they enjoyed through desktop computers, smartphones and tablets, through large TV screens.Once one runs a content app that supports Chromecast on mobile devices like smartphones, the contents concerned are reproduced on TVs instantly.
