The Rosovsky Program at the Asia Institute invites submissions for papers addressing critical new challenges related to security in East Asia and the world.
Papers can range in length from 10 to 40 pages, and final versions should include detailed references to original sources, making them suitable for publication in an academic journal. The Asia Institute will offer assistance with the writing and editing of the papers, arrange seminars to discuss their content, and provide support in producing a high-quality article worthy of eventual publication.
Additionally, funding is available for research papers (ranging from $300 to $1,000) in some cases.
Topics for Papers:
- The concrete implications of the DOGE reforms and cuts for United States military and intelligence.
- The application of MAGA ideology in national security and its impact on analysis, strategy, and planning within United States military and intelligence.
- The implementation of AI directives and policies in security and their long-term impact on United States military and intelligence.
- Current debates on technology policy, specifically concerning the global production of semiconductors, and their implications for United States military and intelligence.
