On June 16, Digital advertising company MediaDonuts, led by CEO Pieter-Jan de Kroon, announced its rebranding under the unified name 'Aleph'. MediaDonuts was acquired by the global digital advertising company Aleph in July 2024, and has since operated under the name 'MediaDonuts by Aleph'.
According to MediaDonuts, the rebranding effort, unifying under the name 'Aleph', aims to facilitate integrated business strategies led by Aleph across eight countries in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Currently, Aleph operates in over 150 countries worldwide and maintains exclusive partnerships with more than 60 global digital platforms.
The transition from MediaDonuts by Aleph to Aleph will be simultaneously implemented across eight countries: Malaysia, Vietnam, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and South Korea. Moving forward, Aleph plans to implement tailored strategies to meet the specific characteristics and demands of each country, combining advertising technology, payment environments, and educational infrastructure based on local expertise.
Gastón Taratuta, the founder and current CEO of Aleph Group since its inception in 2005, emphasized that the consolidated rebranding of Aleph will serve as a foundation for building its international influence. Pieter-Jan de Kroon, head of Aleph APAC, stated that unifying the APAC region under the Aleph brand will generate synergies for both partners and clients.
Aleph currently collaborates with approximately 26,000 advertisers and employs over 1,500 staff in partnership with companies such as Google, Reddit, Microsoft, Meta, Snap, Spotify, Amazon, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, and Pinterest. Beyond digital advertising, Aleph offers 'Localpayment by Aleph', a payment method, and 'Digital Ad Expert', an education-based advertising structure, to assist businesses, governments, and NGOs. Localpayment contributes to industrial informatization in Latin America by providing payment and remittance solutions, while Digital Ad Expert, in collaboration with UNESCO, operates certification-based educational programs.
