The Innovation Academy, led by President Jeon Young-pyo, successfully held the orientation for its 'Codyssey AI All-in-One' innovative training program on August 1 at the Gaepo Digital Innovation Park. The event was designed to discover and nurture the next generation of talent in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and software (SW), with approximately 100 aspiring AI and SW developers in attendance.
During the orientation, participants received an overview of the program, including details on the schedule, learning methods, and overall curriculum, marking the official start of their educational journey. The 'Codyssey AI All-in-One' program is operated using the Innovation Academy's self-developed Korean online AI and SW education platform, 'Codyssey.' The curriculum spans from basic software training to foundational AI theory and advanced service development, focusing on practical, hands-on learning.
The selected participants will engage in the Codyssey innovative training program from August 1 to December 31, a period of approximately five months. Throughout the program, various activities such as hackathons, meetups, networking events, and expert lectures will be conducted to enhance practical skills. All participants who meet the completion criteria will receive a certificate issued by the Innovation Academy.
Song Young-jun, one of the participants who attended the orientation, shared, "I had many questions about the program after going through the Codyssey selection process, but the orientation provided clear explanations about the curriculum, learning direction, and peer learning methods, which resolved my uncertainties."
Jeon Young-pyo, President of the Innovation Academy, emphasized, "The Codyssey AI All-in-One innovative training program is a platform that can change the paradigm of AI and SW talent development education. We are committed to providing the best possible education through thorough preparation and fostering the growth of AI and SW developers."
The Innovation Academy, established in 2019 with support from the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation, is a non-degree educational institution aimed at enhancing Korea's AI and SW capabilities.
