The final lineup of eight players ready to compete in the main stage of the Summoner Wars World Arena Championship 2025 (SWC2025) America Cup has been officially confirmed.
Organized by Com2uS, SWC2025 is a global competition that determines the top player of 'Summoner Wars: Sky Arena.' The North American regional qualifiers took place from late July, with winners’ matches on August 3-4 and loser’s matches on August 10 (Korean time), leading to the selection of the finalists.
Twelve players competed fiercely in the loser’s bracket, playing a best-of-five double-elimination format. As a result, BADOWNEY, TRUEWHALE, ZEFA, and ZEZAS secured the four remaining tickets to the main stage.
BADOWNEY was the first to confirm his spot by defeating CROCODILE and STAYHIVE. Two-time America Cup champion and 2023 World Finals runner-up TRUEWHALE then advanced by beating SOULSHUNTER 3-0. The third finalist is ZEFA, who has participated in the finals three times previously. The last ticket went to ZEZAS, who finished third in last year's America Cup and reached the World Finals.
These eight players will join the four who advanced directly from the winners’ bracket—BIGV, RAIGEKI, LADRILLO-OS, and VINNY—for the offline America Cup matches scheduled to be held on October 11 in São Paulo, Brazil. Notably, ZEZAS from Brazil will be the only competitor competing in front of a home crowd.
The regional qualifiers for SWC2025 will continue until the end of August. Footage from the North American qualifiers can be viewed on the official Summoner Wars eSports YouTube channel. For more information about the tournament, fans can visit the official café and website.
