SsangYong Motor said on Thursday it would roll out its Tivoli Diesel in the European market.
The local motor company has carried out a trial ride event from Oct.14-16, by inviting 80 reporters from 14 countries including Germany, France, England, Spain and Norway for the launch of its Tivoli Diesel and 4WD models.
The company said it applied e-XDi160 engine on its Diesel models based on strong low-speed torque. It also strengthened driving performance and safety by applying 4WD, which automatically distributes driving power, and rear wheel multi-link suspension.
Tivoli first unveiled in the European market in May has been equipped with diverse high-tech safety technologies including high strength steel sheet and seven airbags.
"Tivoli has helped the company brand leap forward and was also selected as a candidate for this year's car in the global market. We will continue to improve our company brand value by continuing to roll out new models," said Choi Jong-sik, chief of SsangYong Motors.
