Com2uS has announced that the Korean qualifiers for the "Summoners War World Arena Championship 2025" (SWC2025) will take place from August 2 to 3, while the winner's bracket matches for the Americas region are set for August 3 to 4.
"SWC2025" is a global eSports tournament that brings together players of "Summoners War: Sky Arena" from all over the world. Participants were recruited worldwide until June, and players were selected for the qualifiers based on their individual performances in World Arena Seasons 32 and 33.
Following the Southeast Asia preliminaries of Group A in the Asia-Pacific region, the upcoming qualifiers for Korea and the Americas will be held over two days each. All matches will utilize a double elimination format and will be played in a best of five format.
The Korean qualifiers will be conducted online on August 2 and 3 at 1 PM KST. The matches will be live-streamed on the official "Summoners War eSports" YouTube channel. Eight players will compete, with the top two securing spots in the Asia-Pacific Cup. Notable participants include veterans like ZZI-SOONG, SCHOLES, PURE.LUCK, and ZDOL, a finalist from SWC2017.
In the Americas region, the winner's bracket matches will commence on August 3 and 4 at 5 AM KST, followed by the loser's bracket matches on August 10. Sixteen players will compete, and the top eight will advance to the Americas Cup. The competition features tough contenders such as TRUEWHALE, a two-time Americas Cup champion and runner-up of the 2023 World Finals, along with RAIGEKI, LADRILLO-OS, and ZEZAS, all of whom have experience in past World Finals.
Since its inception in 2017, "SWC" has grown into a major platform for international cultural exchange among "Summoners War" players. It continues to evolve by introducing more sophisticated rules and new formats each year, expanding its scale, and becoming a celebration for gamers worldwide.
